Bronson LakeView Hospital Community Health Needs Assessment

Bronson LakeView Hospital, a member of the Bronson Healthcare system, conducted this Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) to further its commitment to the community and to fulfill the requirements of the Affordable Care Act.

2022 CHNA Results & Progress Report

For the purposes of this CHNA, the definition of community is all residents of Van Buren County, Michigan. This CHNA process began in August 2021 and was completed and approved by Bronson Healthcare’s Board of Directors in November 2022. Both primary and secondary data were collected and analyzed to inform this CHNA. Michigan Public Health Institute (MPHI) highlighted community voice through analysis of key informant interviews, community survey results, and recent community reports and assessments. W.E. Upjohn Institute for Employment Research compiled and analyzed social determinants of health indicators to highlight the health status and social determinants of health for individuals living in Van Buren County.
