I believe in treating patients the way I would want myself and my family cared for. Understanding a patient’s past experiences, obstacles, concerns and beliefs is essential in properly caring for an individual. My goal is to meet patients where they are and work together at improving their health.

Kristen chose her career in medicine because she has always been passionate about helping others. After spending a decade working as a medical assistant, Kristen decided she wanted to be more involved in patient care. She chose the colon and rectal specialty because of the wide range and complexities of cases and procedures.

 Kristen credits her mother as being the most influential person in her life, always encouraging her and teaching her how to overcome adversity. Kristen has a special interest in mental health after seeing the impact it has on a person. In her free time, she enjoys couponing and then donating items she buys to those in need. She also enjoys spending time with her family.
