My Approach to Care

My approach to care starts with thanking people for tending to their health.  I love listening closely, getting to know a person, and then working together to support their health.  As an Osteopathic doctor, I see people as units of body, mind, and spirit with brilliant self-healing capacity.  My role is to support this capacity, keeping the whole person in the center.

Dr. Natan Harel chose Family Medicine as a way to support people across every stage of life. From newborns and new parents to older adults, Dr. Harel values the unique opportunity to provide care for all ages and build meaningful relationships with his patients. Over years of preventive care, illness management, and overcoming social barriers to health, he finds great purpose in tending to each person’s well-being.

 Deeply inspired by nature, Dr. Harel brings an appreciation for the intricacies of natural systems—including the human body—into his practice. His commitment to understanding and working with these systems has instilled in him a sense of awe, gratitude, and respect, which he carries into his work with both individuals and the community.

 Dr. Harel has a special interest in Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) and enjoys participating in local events, including skin check fairs, Family Health Center’s "Back to School Bash," and support groups for pregnant and postpartum mothers.

 In his free time, Dr. Harel loves exploring the outdoors through backpacking, bicycling, and gardening. He’s also a musician, enjoying guitar, and finds joy in spending time with his children.
