New Major Gifts Officers
Jared Coleman
Jared has been a Bronson employee for 4 years, beginning as an intern in the Supply Chain department. Prior to joining the Bronson Health Foundation team, he served as the contract specialist for the surgical department. In this role he managed all contracting & supply chain activity surrounding surgical services.
Coleman received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management and his Master of Business Administration from Western Michigan University. He is a proud member of American College of Healthcare Executives, Association for Health Care Resource & Materials Management & continues to dedicate his time to WMU as a member of the Health Administration Advisory Council.
In his free time, he enjoys being active, taking on new experiences and watching sports. A former Kalamazoo Promise scholar, Jared loves connecting with others and spreading his positive energy and community driven mindset.

Jenna Ellis
Jenna comes to Bronson Health Foundation with seven years of non-profit development experience; specifically in healthcare-based fundraising. Most recently, she served as the development manager at Oaklawn Hospital.
Ellis found a passion for development work while studying at Michigan State University (Go Green!) as she wanted to align her personal mission of helping others with her skills of relationship-building and fundraising. After moving to Racine, Wisconsin to work for Ascension All-Saints Hospital, she decided to advance her education further at the University of Wisconsin – Parkside to obtain her Master of Business Administration which she successfully completed in 2019.
Jenna and her husband moved to Kalamazoo in 2020. When she is not working, she enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, volunteering, and spending time with her friends and family. She and her husband have one adorable dog, Piper, and are expecting their first “human daughter” in June of 2022. Jenna is thrilled to be joining the BHF team and cannot wait to connect with those who want to help make a difference in the Kalamazoo area.
