Donor Story - Carole Harroun Ritcey

National recognition has not changed the community feeling that Bronson strives to retain.  As I picked up the reins of our family business as the third generation president, it is with pride that I can say that B. L. Harroun has maintained our close association with Bronson as local contractors.  

I have also experienced Bronson as a patient and parent after the birth of my son who spent time in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Bronson Children’s Hospital.  Now, I am serving on the Bronson Health Foundation Board Distribution Committee, where I am proud to be part of the Bronson family. I am eager to learn all of the avenues that help patients and their families.

My newest endeavor is creating a Donor Advised Fund (DAF). I like the idea, that through a DAF, I am not only giving, but playing a role in specifically choosing which projects are important to me to support with money from my fund.

My family association with Bronson began nearly eighty years ago. I look forward to continuing that involvement for many years ahead.
