Addison is a beautiful, healthy baby girl!

My husband and I wanted to have children but struggled getting pregnant. When it finally happened in 2018, I suffered a miscarriage. As you can imagine, my husband and I were nervous about trying to get pregnant, again. I went to see Dr. Brian Krauss, who was so supportive and confident that I could get pregnant; he assured us that everything would be okay. Dr. Krauss made us feel very safe and comfortable which really helped to get us to where we needed to be. This past spring, 2019, I ended up delivering Addison, our beautiful baby girl!

To tell you that we were not scared is not the truth. Towards the later part of my pregnancy, I had a stress test that indicated the cord was wrapped around Addison’s neck. Dr. Krauss, Dr. Erika Dearing and the team at Bronson OB/GYN Capital Avenue was so supportive and said they would keep monitoring me, and the baby, throughout the duration of my pregnancy. At 39 weeks, I was induced with Dr. Dearing performing a C-section and delivering Addison, a healthy baby girl. Dr. Dearing was wonderful. She worked fast and was very cautious with the delivery. She got Addison out, safely, which was most important.

My prenatal care at Bronson OB/GYN Capital Avenue was outstanding. It was especially helpful to have a Bronson MyChart account that made communicating with the office easy and convenient. We could not believe the support we received from the doctors, providers and office staff. We are so grateful to Ann, Dr. Krauss’ nurse, for always giving us comfort and support, and making us feel like we were a top priority!

We had such a good experience at the Bronson BirthPlace – Battle Creek. Everyone was great! We are so glad we choose the Bronson BirthPlace for our birth center.
