I felt like I’d gained a friend when it was time to leave

Eve was my nurse all four days I was there. She was very thorough and conscientious. She really took an interest in making me feel comfortable and I could see she truly wanted me to get better. I felt like I’d gained a friend when it was time to leave, that I was not just another patient during her shifts. Her empathy and compassion and care was obvious. We were very thankful she was assigned to my room!
