Her experience and critical thinking saved his life

I had the pleasure of working with Season Willi for several years in the Bronson Battle Creek surgical unit. She was a wonderful resource, always putting patients first. But on November 5 she helped my family in a way we could have never imagined.

My dad was home alone making his breakfast that morning. At some point he suffered from a massive stroke. During a routine post op call, Season called my dad to give him an update on his friend after surgery. Season quickly realized something was not right. My dad was not able to speak only grumble sounds. Season had a choice that day to move on to the next call or continue to evaluate the situation which is exactly what she did. From the first call she made, and the arrival of the ambulance was 30 minutes. Because of her, my dad is not only here with us today but has a huge opportunity for recovery. Her experience and critical thinking saved his life and for that we are forever grateful. My dad was not her patient that day but that did not stop her from helping. Thank you Season for not only being an advocate for your patients but for people.
