Dr. Ellwitz is Amazing!

I have to give a shout out to the Bronson staff! Six to nine months ago I was having some serious symptoms of pain in my neck, which has been going on for at least 20 years, pain in shoulder blade, numbness in both hands, fine motor skill causing me issues picking things up and the thing that forced me to call doctor was these God awful sick headaches up my neck that were making me vomit.

Primary doctor immediately sent me to Spine doctor and I failed some of the physical exam and X-rays looked terrible which prompted a MRI 2 days later. MRI was read and sent to my spine doctor before I even got home from it. Nice job to all of them.

Doctor said I had two choices: live with it or surgery. I couldn't live with it so I underwent an anterior cervical discectomy and fusion of C6-C7 in February 2024.

Dr. Joshua Ellwitz is amazing, Terell at front desk was very sweet, Joe and Lyndsey were so kind in pre-op and Dr. Ellwitz and anesthesia guy were confident, Dr. Ellwitz played some Five Finger Death Punch in surgery for me and the surgery staff was awesome.

I am home and my amazing husband is taking such good care of me. I'm in pain with a nice scar on the front of my neck but the tons of meds are helping. Too soon to tell if it fixed everything but my hands didn't fall asleep last night. Thank you for all the kindness and great care.
