I Am So Thankful for Being a Part of This Program

In 2018, I started going to Bronson Pulmonary Rehabilitation in Battle Creek after getting influenza and pneumonia. I desperately needed something to help me feel better and gain strength. All of the rehabilitation staff were very nice and patient with me as I slowly learned how to incorporate exercise into my routine. They taught me so many new things like getting used to breathing a different way and how to pace myself when I am exerting energy.

Ultimately, the staff taught me how to not give up on myself, which was so easy to do in the past! They have helped me reach my goals and I’m in the maintenance program now. I went from having hardly any energy to being able to live a semi-normal life. I am so thankful for being a part of this program.
