Thankful he has the opportunity to be a part of Team Bronson

My name is Brian Cooper and I work in the Surgical Department at Bronson Methodist Hospital. We have the privilege of working with Sheldon Wadsten from the Environmental Services department. Sheldon completed Bronson's Project SEARCH Program with KRESA, and has now been working for Bronson since 2018. He is such an independent and hard worker. He does a wonderful job making sure our Locker Room is clean and tidy. So with permission of our Surgical Director, myself and another employee got Sheldon a plaque that he could take home and hang-up as reminder of how awesome he is. We want Sheldon to feel like he is a member of our team. I am thankful for the KRESA program and that it gave Sheldon such a great opportunity to be a part of Team Bronson and experience Bronson Positivity.

Project SEARCH is transition program that helps young adults with disabilities obtain gainful employment. The program makes sure students develop skills that transfer to the workplace, by immersing them into the workings of Bronson Methodist Hospital. Learn more about Project SEARCH
