Thanks to Dr. Elishae Johnson for advancing the health of our community

Today we recognize Dr. Elishae Johnson from BBC HelpNet for building trusting partnerships, respecting all people, and advancing the health of our community.

Elishae balances a busy work schedule as a clinician and manager at HelpNet with an extensive personal commitment to community engagement. Elishae serves on several local non-profit boards including the Battle Creek Community Foundation and Women’s Co-op; is active with Bronson initiatives like our Diversity & Inclusion team; and has offered her counseling skills in partnership with the Battle Creek Police Department (examples include ‘ride along’ mental health support with the Prostitution Task Force and volunteer leadership with a law enforcement team targeting violence).
