As a Medical Assistant, you have the opportunity to make a positive impact on patients and their families every day. Whether you are new to the field or have years of experience, we have a spot for you on Team Bronson.

Job requirements include:

A high school diploma or GED
Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
Previous clinical experience preferred

What Does an MA Do?

MAs typically work in our primary care or specialty care offices. Some job functions include:

Prepare patients for their provider visit. This includes completing patient assessment, histories, vital signs, medication reconciliation, and routine testing of hearing, vision or other.
Document pertinent information in their medical record.
Obtain specimens for urine testing, phlebotomy, etc.
Set up for and assist with treatment or procedures, as requested by a physician.
Perform laboratory tests, as directed by a physician.
Schedule outside tests or procedures for patients in other departments of facilities such as x-ray, MRI, etc.
