Nursing Professional Development
At Bronson, we strive for excellence. This is why we offer our nurses opportunities to learn new skills, earn advanced degrees/certifications and take their career to the next level.
Nursing Professional Advancement Ladder (NPAL)
NPAL recognizes, rewards and supports professional development for bedside nurses, in turn helping to retain top talent. Nurses must apply to the program. Participating nurses receive funds to use toward professional growth, including:
- Conferences and workshops
- Certification and recertification
- Professional nursing journal subscriptions
- Professional nursing organization membership
- Tuition/student loan payments for BSN/MSN program
As nurses within the program reach specific milestones, they advance from Level I (novice RN) to Level IV (board certified BSN or MSN).
Tuition and Certification Assistance
Nurses who are pursuing degrees and certifications related to their job at Bronson are eligible for tuition reimbursement. This is a part of Bronson’s total rewards package for all employees.
Additionally, the Bronson Health Foundation offers an annual nurse scholarship. Through the program, a select number of nurses are chosen to receive funds toward their BSN or MSN degree. Learn more about the Margaret H. Varney Scholarship Endowment.
