This class for first-time dads is designed to build your confidence and to prepare you for being a father. While most other childbirth classes encourage mom to bring dad (or another support person) with her, this class is different because it is for dads/men only.
Experienced, veteran dads from the Bronson Birth Place help teach you how to diaper, feed, and relate to your newborn. You will also learn about ways you can nurture and support both mother and baby.
*If you are a dad registering independently from a mom, please place "N/A"
in the mother's information section of the registration form, and in any other sections that are not applicable. Enter your phone number and your email address please. You may also wish to consider taking Baby Safety and Baby Care classes.
If cancelation occurs due to weather, illness, or other reasons refunds will be issued promptly.
Medicaid is accepted and financial aid is available.
This class is taught by Dennis Cole and Shawn Davis, BA. You are welcome to bring drinks or snacks to class.
The class will be held in the basement of the Bronson Gilmore Center for Health Education, Classroom 5.
