This class for first-time dads is designed to build your confidence and to prepare you for being a father. While most other childbirth classes encourage mom to bring dad (or another support person) with her, this class is different because it is for dads/men only.
Experienced, veteran dads from the Bronson Birth Place help teach you how to diaper, feed, and relate to your newborn. You will also learn about ways you can nurture and support both mother and baby.
*If you are a dad registering independently from a mom, please place "N/A" in the mother's information section of the registration form, and in any other sections that are not applicable. Enter your phone number and your email address please. You may also wish to consider taking Baby Care and Baby Safety classes.
Medicaid is accepted and financial aid is available.
*Class content is the same at both Bronson Battle Creek and Kalamazoo so you may choose to take the class at either location.
This workshop will be held at the Bronson Battle Creek Outpatient Center which is attached to the Bronson Battle Creek Hospital. It is on the second level of the Outpatient Center, Conference Rooms A & B.
You are welcome to bring drinks or snacks to class.
