Osteoporosis

A condition affecting the bones caused by a lack of calcium and bone protein. This can result in fragile or brittle bones that may even break as a result from a fall or mild stress. Osteoporosis is more common in women. Some of the most common risk factors include menopause, alcoholism and kidney disease.
