Renal Failure

Renal Failure

There are two types of renal (kidney) failure: acute and chronic. Both types indicate that there is damage to the kidneys, which hinders them from fully doing their job. Acute renal failure is sudden and can possibly be reversed. Chronic renal failure lasts for more than three months and may be permanent.
