Stroke and Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA)

Stroke occurs when blood flow to your brain stops. TIAs, or “mini strokes,” occur when the brain’s blood supply is briefly interrupted. Both conditions require immediate care. Strokes sometimes require surgery.
