Profile

Kaylin chose to become a physician assistant because she has always been passionate about helping others live healthier lives. Over the years, she has had the privilege of working with patients in various settings and witnessing the critical role proper medical care plays in overall well-being. Her transition into sleep medicine stems from a deep fascination with how sleep affects every aspect of health, from mental clarity to chronic disease management. Kaylin is excited to help patients improve their quality of life through better sleep health.

The biggest influence in Kaylin's life has been her grandmother, whose incredible capacity for kindness and dedication to helping others inspired her career in healthcare. Her grandmother's commitment to making a positive impact in her community instilled in Kaylin a deep sense of compassion and a desire to do the same in her own work. Each day, Kaylin is excited to come to work knowing she has the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on her patients' health. Whether diagnosing a condition, providing treatment, or offering guidance, she finds it incredibly rewarding to help improve their quality of life. Kaylin is also driven by the continuous learning and growth that comes with working in healthcare.

One of Kaylin's special interests within sleep medicine is the impact of sleep disorders during pregnancy. Sleep disturbances are common but often under-recognized during this critical time. Kaylin is particularly interested in exploring how conditions like sleep apnea and insomnia affect both maternal and fetal health.

In her free time, Kaylin loves spending quality time with her husband, son, and their two golden retrievers. They enjoy walks together and spending summers on Lake Michigan's beaches. Kaylin is also an avid reader and loves attending plays and musicals whenever she can.
