My Approach to Care

All patients that I care for have either suffered a traumatic injury or require some kind of emergent surgery. For me, it is imperative that both the patient and their families be made aware of their conditions so that they are best prepared to understand and deal with the difficulties life has thrown at them.

Dr. Maltz was influenced by his father when he chose a career in surgical critical care. He enjoys the ability to care for any injury and manage a trauma patient's care in its entirety. Dr. Maltz appreciates the trauma field and the challenge of not knowing what he will be treating every day. In his free time, Dr. Maltz likes to be with his family and take vacations for rest and relaxation.
