My Approach to Care

I aim to deliver patient-centered care by acknowledging each patient's unique values and preferences. I include my patients in the medical decision-making process and value the opportunity to assist them at all stages of life and work together to meet their goals.

Profile

After volunteering in a family doctor's office during her senior year of high school, Jessica Ramirez decided to become a doctor. During medical school, she fell in love with obstetrics and gynecology because of its unique composition of primary care and surgery. As a doctor, she values the opportunity to provide continuity of care and care for women during different stages of their lives. Dr. Ramirez has a special interest in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, pelvic pain, fibroids, pregnancy and postpartum care and education.

Dr. Ramirez gets excited to come to work every day to meet new patients and have an impact on their lives. She loves the new challenges that each day brings and likes the variety in the day-to-day work that the OB/GYN field offers. 

Dr. Ramirez’s parents are her biggest influence in life. She credits them for teaching her the value of family and perseverance during difficult times. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, jogging, cooking and spending time with her family.
