My Approach to Care

“Providing exceptional health care involves more than just the ability to apply academic knowledge. To treat comprehensively, we must meet patients and families where they are. My goal is to see each person as a unique individual, taking all aspects of their lives into consideration, in order to address physical, mental, and spiritual health. I do this through creativity, empathy, and a strong call to service.”

From a young age, Betsy demonstrated a strong interest in science and medicine. For her, healthcare has always been a way to merge that passion with her desire to serve as God's hands and feet in the world. She finds working with children particularly rewarding because of their rapid growth, ability to absorb experiences, and remarkable resilience, making them a fun yet challenging population.

Betsy’s family—her grandparents, parents, brother, husband, and children—have had the most significant influence on her life, consistently providing encouragement and acceptance. In her spare time, Betsy enjoys volunteering with her church, playing with her three rescue dogs, reading, and baking.
