My Approach to Care

I chose pediatrics because it grants me the privilege of working with children every day and experiencing their joy, creativity and resilience. Pediatric hematology and oncology allows me to build relationships with my patients and their families while guiding them through the best and worst days of their lives. It is so important to work together with families to ensure the best quality care.

Dr. Stephens’ interest in pediatric hematology and oncology was sparked during her residency rotation, where she met patients and families who changed her life forever. After that experience, Dr. Stephens wanted to continue to learn and grow as a physician so she could help make a difference in her pediatric patients’ lives. She credits her family as her biggest influence and support in life. They have always encouraged her to pursue her goals and dreams.

In her free time, Dr. Stephens enjoys baking, traveling and spending time with her family and dogs.
