Profile

Dr. Jacala-Tadian chose to become a family medicine physician because it allows her to help others improve their overall wellbeing at every age and stage of life. Her mother is one of her greatest influences in life, as she motivated her to find a career that was rewarding and would allow her to be independent.  “I thoroughly enjoy the feeling of being able to help people with their health issues and see the joy of relief when they recover from their illness,” explains Dr. Jacala-Tadian.

Dr. Jacala-Tadian spends a great amount of time volunteering. She is a member of the Alpena Exchange Club – a group of men and women working together to make communities better places to live through programs of service in Americanism, Community Service, Youth Activities and more. She has also served on her local high school’s Band Boosters, mentored Michigan State University’s Human Medicine medical students during their rural immersion clinical rotations, and served as a minister at her church. Outside of work and volunteerism, Dr. Jacala-Tadian enjoys traveling with my family and learning about new cultures, cuisines and traditions. She also likes to play pickleball, line dance and sing karaoke with friends and family.
