My Approach to Care

I am thankful every day to be a pediatrician. I enjoy being able to work with kids. They are honest, sometimes silly, and always bring pure sweetness. They are deserving of the best care and compassion that I can provide. It is important to be able to relate to parents and their children. I believe that, as a team, we can achieve a healthy support network of care.

Dr. Spitzer discovered his interest in pediatrics when he started helping his mother take care of his younger brother who had asthma. “I discovered through him my sense of compassion and empathy,” he explains.

Dr. Spitzer is passionate about working with children children. “I always look forward to seeing the kids every day. I never know what is going to be the joke of the day or the next silly moment.”

A fun fact about Dr. Spitzer is that he grew up in Colombia and speaks fluent Spanish. During his undergrad years at Kalamazoo College, he studied abroad in France. He and his wife now enjoy traveling there as much as possible to enjoy the beautiful culture.
