Bronson Welcomes First Babies of 2023

A southwest Michigan family celebrated an extra-special early morning delivery that occurred the morning of New Year’s Day, marking the first baby born at Bronson in 2023.

Sonny Seedorff was born at 6:51 a.m. on January 1, at the Bronson BirthPlace in Kalamazoo. Sonny weighed in at 6 lbs., 1 oz. The proud parents are Alyssa and Luke Seedorff and their four-year-old son Boone.

The BirthPlace at Bronson Battle Creek saw its first baby of the year on January 2, at 1:56 a.m.

Leon Dean Schumacher weighed in at 6 lbs., 7 oz., and was born to parents Brittany and Kale Schumacher. Leon has a six-year-old sister named Skylee.
