Bronson Medical Group Welcomes New Chief Clinical Officer
Kalamazoo, Mich. – Bronson Healthcare welcomes Paul Fu, MD, MBA, as Bronson Medical Group’s chief clinical officer (CCO) and as a system vice president. In this physician executive role, he will partner with Holly Adams, Bronson Medical Group’s chief operating officer, to jointly lead care delivery and clinical support functions across the medical group. He will also oversee Bronson’s Population Health team.
Bronson conducted a national search for the CCO position and Dr. Fu clearly stood out for his experience in clinical optimization and operations as well as health equity and population health. He has a track record of innovative leadership and commitment to improving healthcare delivery with a special interest in utilizing technology to advance care.
Dr. Fu comes to Bronson with significant experience in clinical and medical group leadership, most recently serving as a chief medical officer for Sturdy Health Medical Group in Attleboro, MA and at Auburn Community Hospital in Auburn, NY. He has served since 2023 as Vice-Chair of Physician Hospital Integration Collaborative for Massachusetts Health and Hospital Association. Prior to his chief medical officer roles, he was medical director of telehealth for Yale Medicine in New Haven, CT.
A neurologist by training, Dr. Fu received his bachelor’s degree from University of Michigan, his medical degree from Wayne State School of Medicine, and completed his residency in Neurology and Healthcare Management at Yale New Haven Hospital. Dr. Fu also has an MBA from Yale School of Management.”
Dr. Fu grew up in Troy, Michigan, and he and his family are enthusiastic about returning to the state.
