• Bronson Internal Medicine Hospital Specialists welcomes Ridwaan Albeiruti, MD, to its team. He will be working as a hospitalist at Bronson Battle Creek, LakeView, Methodist and South Haven Hospitals. Dr. Albeiruti completed his internal medicine fellowship at West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV. He earned his doctorate of medicine degree at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Dr. Bliss completed her vascular neurology fellowship at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. and is board certified in neurology. She completed her neurology residency and internship at Sparrow Hospital and Michigan State University in Lansing. Dr. Bliss received her medical degree from Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Vir. She has a special interest in vascular neurology and women's health. • Bronson Adult Critical Care welcomes Julie Bourbonnais, MD, to its team. She will be working in critical care at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital and Bronson Methodist Hospital. Dr. Bourbonnais completed her critical care and sleep fellowship at Wayne State University and Detroit Medical Center in Detroit. She completed her internal medicine residency and internship at Wayne State University and Detroit Medical Center in Detroit., and is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, critical care medicine and sleep medicine. Dr. Bourbonnais received her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. She has more than 20 years of experience and was most recently employed with Mercy in Grand Rapids. • Bronson Internal Medicine – John St. welcomes Andrew Chen, MD, to its team. Dr. Chen was a member of the inaugural class at the Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. Following medical school, he completed his internal medicine internship and residency at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. As part of Bronson Medical Group’s concerted efforts to improve access to care across the region, Dr. Kakareka will be seeing patients and performing brain and spine surgery at Bronson hospitals in Battle Creek and Kalamazoo. Dr. Kakareka completed his fellowship in complex adult spinal deformity surgery from University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Penn.
