Bronson and Kalamazoo Wings to Raise Deaf Awareness in the Community
As the Kalamazoo Wings Hockey team embarked on its 49th season, Bronson Sports Medicine continued its support for both health awareness and the K-Wings hockey team. This began with the Home Opener on October 21, with Dr. Kyle Bronsteen, Bronson's newest sports medicine provider, dropping the puck to commence the season.
Now they are shifting focus to the upcoming Deaf Awareness Game on Sunday, December 10. This special event will raise awareness for Kalamazoo's deaf community.
Attendees will have a chance to:
- Learn about barriers affecting the health and well-being of Kalamazoo’s Deaf Community.
- Contribute to a special deaf awareness jersey auction benefiting Bronson’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion and Language Services.
- Receive an ASL Game sign giveaway to cheer on the K-Wings!
- Stop by the Bronson booth to pick up your free earplugs, courtesy of Bronson Constance Brown Hearing Center.
Bronson's Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Language services will host a dedicated booth alongside the Bronson Constance Brown Hearing Center. This collaborative effort aims to provide valuable education about hearing loss and prevention and resources, making it an opportunity to learn and connect.
