Bronson Nurses Awarded Nursing Scholarships for 2024 School Year
Congratulations to the latest Bronson Nursing Scholarship recipients! From applicants across Bronson Healthcare, six registered nurses (RNs) will receive scholarship funds to assist them as they pursue advanced nursing degrees.
“At Bronson, everything we do is focused on advancing the health of our communities,” explains Marla Atkinson, Vice President of Patient Care Services & Chief Nursing Officer at Bronson Methodist Hospital. “With the rapidly changing healthcare landscape, supporting our nurses in obtaining advanced degrees not only enhances their professional growth but also enhances the quality of patient care. It makes me proud to see our dedicated nurses commit to continuing their education to better serve their patients and contribute to the advancement of the nursing profession as a whole.”

Master of Science in Nursing Award Recipient:
- Amber Hughey, BSN, RN, Bronson Methodist Hospital, Surgery
The nursing scholarships are funded by the Bronson Health Foundation Margaret H. Varney Scholarship Endowment.
