Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Oncology
Being diagnosed with cancer is life-changing – especially when you are in your teens and 20s. You may be navigating high school, going off to college, building your career or starting a family. Your needs are not the same as younger children or grown adults. This is why Bronson offers the Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Oncology program. Our team of oncology experts are committed to providing you with the specialized care you deserve.
Specialized Treatment
Bronson’s AYA Oncology program is designed to meet the unique needs of individuals ages 15-29 who have been diagnosed with cancer and blood disorders. As a patient, you will partner with our multidisciplinary care team who is here for you at every step of your cancer journey. Your team will include oncology physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists and others who are trained in caring for adults and kids with cancer.
AYA Oncology Services
Along with ongoing cancer treatments like chemotherapy, radiation and/or surgery, our AYA patients with cancer have access to several services to support the mind, body and spirit.
