Services Offered
Bronson has the expertise and technology to provide the highest level of care.
- Diagnostic services: Our team can perform a variety of tests to diagnose genetic bleeding disorders. Our team uses the patient’s personal and family history, physical exam, and in-house testing for diagnosis. We can also send tests, as needed, to specialty labs across the county to diagnose patients accurately.
- Genetic testing: If an immediate relative is diagnosed with a bleeding disorder, you may be more likely to have the same condition. Our team can discuss options and make recommendations. We will coordinate genetic testing as needed.
- Surgery management: Often, precautions should be taken when someone with a bleeding disorder has dental work or surgical procedures. We work with patients and their care team to develop a clear plan for before and after procedures. This may include an infusion, pre-/post-surgery education, and/or at-home follow up care.
- Women and Girl's services: We offer diagnostic treatment and education for individuals with a history of unusual or prolonged bleeding. We partner with patients, their OB/GYN, and their primary care provider as needed to create plans for symptom control. In addition, we coordinate with our pregnant patients and their OB for an optimal birth plan.
This Hemophilia Treatment Center operates through two locations, a pediatric office and an adult office. Our nurse coordinators follow patients from birth through adulthood. We are here to care you and your family's unique needs.
