Keep Your Account Secure with Two-factor Authentication (2FA)
To keep your account as secure as possible, two-factor authentication (2FA) is required for Bronson MyChart users. Two-factor authentication protects your account and personal health information by asking you to verify your account activity via a confirmation code sent to your phone number or email in addition to your MyChart password at login. Two-factor authentication also simplifies password resets. Instead of calling for a new temporary password, users with two-factor authentication enabled will receive a code to reset their password directly to their email or mobile phone. Enabling 2FA is not required to access your account. However, it is strongly encouraged.

Proxy Access for Your Child or a Loved One's Account
What is Proxy Access?
Having access to your child or loved one’s MyChart account can help you stay informed and manage their healthcare needs. This is called proxy access and allows a parent, guardian, spouse, family member, friend, or significant other to log into their personal MyChart account and then connect to information of the proxied patient. When a patient is 12 years and older Proxy access will only be granted if you have permission from the patient or if the patient has sent you a direct link.
If the patient is under the age of 12 years old the parent or legal guardian will be granted proxy access by the child’s doctor’s office.
Why Did My Proxy Access Get Turned Off?
The state of Michigan has confidentiality rules in place for minors that allows them to keep certain medical records private. On the day a patient turns 12 years old proxy access will be turned off and the patient will need to give permission for the parent or legal guardian to continue to have proxy access. The patient can complete a Proxy Consent Form and return it to the doctor’s office to request access.
For all patients 18 and older, MyChart can be shared with other individuals with a MyChart account by emailing a link to connect the MyChart accounts. To do this go to Share My Record or find it on the menu tab in your MyChart account. By clicking on Friends and Family Access you can see who is proxied to your view your account and who gave you proxy access to their account. You also have the option to revoke someone’s access at any time from this tab. The patient can also complete an Adult Proxy Consent Form and return it to the doctor’s office to request access.
